How can I find jobs?
By lodging your résumé online with JobSearch you’ll get access to a variety of services. If you have a Job Network member they can help you set this up. You can search JobSearch online anywhere and at kiosks in Centrelink and Job Network offices.
You can have up to five different résumés registered online to suit the different types of jobs you’re after.
Once your résumé is on JobSearch you can:
- Allow potential employers to view your résumé to see if your skills and qualifications match their job vacancies.
- Receive automatic notification of any jobs listed on JobSearch that seem like they might suit you, for example, via email, telephone message or SMS.
- Have access to an Instant JobList which is displayed when you visit the site and shows a list of jobs in the database relating to your skills and interests.

JobSearch also has other helpful resources, For example:
- Careers, where you can see profiles of career options, prospects for a particular occupation, its salary range and the type of person best suited to it.
- Australian Training, provides you with details about courses that can help you move or advance further into your chosen career. You can find everything you need to know about training institutions, courses and who you need to contact.
- Volunteer Search, where you can search for opportunities to volunteer your time to gain some work experience and help your community.
